Tanzania led. Built for the long way.

Founded by Mike and Justin—third-generation tour guides with more than 15 years in the field—Outbound Tanzania is locally owned, locally operated and designed to keep the value of travel close to home.

LOCAL LED
Every departure begins and ends with the people who know this place.

CREW FIRST
Fair pay and deliberate crew welfare are baked into every quote.

NO HIDDEN COSTS
A clear plan, a clear price and people on the ground when it matters.

FROM THE FIELD, NOT THE BOARDROOM

A local company with a wider responsibility.

I grew up in this work, learning that the best journeys depend on the people who make them possible: guides, drivers, cooks, porters, camp teams and the communities around every route. I stepped out on my own to build a Tanzanian company that pays fairly, plans responsibly and delivers the kind of clarity we would want for our own families.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Good travel should look after everyone it touches.

That means no hidden schemes, no vague promises and no cutting corners. We make every dollar work hard for our guests while protecting fair crew conditions, investing in safe vehicles and equipment, respecting wild places and contributing positively to the communities that welcome us. Our aim is simple: help set a higher bar for safety, value and sustainability in Tanzanian travel.
